Angelica J. Varela is licensed in California and Florida and has been practicing business and real estate litigation for 10 years. Over her career, Ms. Varela has litigated high profile civil litigation cases involving all types of business and real estate disputes, including high profile land sale/purchase contractual disputes, partnership and development disputes, high stakes mold cases, and contentious neighbor v. neighbor, CC&R, homeowner association and view rights cases. Ms. Varela is very experienced and has a record of results in all phases of civil litigation, from pleadings, motions, discovery practice, deposition to trial and appellate work.

Ms. Varela earned her undergraduate degree from Oberlin College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and a Minor in Legal Studies. In between undergraduate and law school, Ms. Varela worked at SeaWorld of Florida’s animal training department where her focus was in animal behavior and training

Following Sea World, Ms. Varela graduated from St. Thomas School of Law in Miami, Florida and was admitted to the Florida State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. In 2013, after relocating to the West Coast, Ms. Varela was admitted to the California State Bar, and most recently became a member of the US District Court Central District of California.
